The Olympic pear is an attractive, round, very large Asian pear with an orange-brown russeted skin. Its flesh is firm, crisp, juicy and sweet. It is considered one of the best Asian pear varieties for long-term storage.

Originated in Korean in 1969.

A large, upright, winter hardy and vigorous tree that requires a pollinator to bear fruit. May have some fireblight tolerance. Clip the stems of the fruit when harvesting. The last Asian pears to ripen during October. Fruit can store for 8-9 months.
