European plums are generally a little hardier and easier to grow than Japanese plums. Many European plums are self-fertile and will not require another european variety for pollination, but it always helps to have several varieties if possible.
We cannot ship any stock to California , Hawaii, Canada or outside the USA.
Due to phytosanitary restrictions and concerns Grandpa will not accept orders or ship Plums or other stonefruits to CA or HI and the following counties in Colorado---Alamosa, Conejos, Costilla, Mesa, Rio Grande, Saguache Counties. We may limit shipping of certain varieties to the following states--- ID, OR, WA--- depending on their source and virus-free certification status. We cannot ship any stock to CANADA or outside the USA.
Note: Planting a variety outside of its normal Hardiness Zone will void our normal replacement policy. Please be careful in your selections!
