Ubilleen is a large, early season pear, ripening in early to mid-July.  The fruit is large.  The flesh is buttery and smooth and of good flavor.  A great dessert pear that doesn't store for long periods.  The tree is vigorous and disease resistant.

Ubileen originated in Bulgaria and was introduced into the US in 1974.
