Prunus armeniaca 'Harcot'
Homeowner Growing and Maintenance Tips

Harcot is an excellent hardy variety, maybe more resistant to common apricot diseases in the East and North than Goldcot. For best crops it should be planted with other appricot varieties for pollination. Thin for better fruit size if a heavy crop is set.

A Little History about Harcot Apricot

Harcot and other varieties whose name begins with "Har" were developed at the Harrow, Ontario Experiment Station in Canada and developed for the colder northern areas.
