Hanksa Hybrid Plum
Prunus hybrid 'Hanksa'
Hanska plum is red skinned with a bluish bloom and yellow fleshed. The fruit is semi-freestone, large and great for canning. Ripens in late mid-season in September.
Hanska came from N.E. Hansen's breeding program at Brookings, SD. In 1908.
