Shenandoah is a fire blight resistant European pear that ripens in mid-late September, about a month after Bartlett.  It is a large pear that has a Bartlett like shape.  The fuit has greenish-yellow skin speckled with dots.  It stores very well for several months.

Shenandoah came from a cooperative breeding effort of USDA and Ohio State University.

Shenandoah appears to have similar fire blight resistance as Seckel.
