Mt. Fuji Flowering Cherry sets volumes of pink buds that open to large, double white flowers in the early spring. The foliage is a glossy green, turning yellow in the fall. Any fruit that may set is insignificant and usually drops off soon.

Most flowering cherries were originally bred in Japan.

Mt. Fuji Cherry is very ornamental in its habit, with a spread greater than its height normally. Beautiful in the landscape.
