Mt. Evereste(TM) is predominantly used for pollination although it has beautiful white flowers. It blooms and provide pollination for early blooming apples. The fruit is attractive, but small. It is highly fire blight and scab resistant.
Mt. Blanc(TM) USPP 16939 (X6144 cv) and Mt. Evereste(TM) (Perpetue cv) were both introduced into the US from the INRA breeding program in France. Both have great fireblight and scab resistance and are widely used in commercial orchards for pollination.
