The Gloster 69 is a Weisser Winterglockenapfel x Richard Delicious cross. Similar in appearance to a Red Delicious, with a conical shape, fully red fruit with calyx-end bumps and large 3 inch diameter, but a more tart flavor than a Delicious.
Originated in Germany and introduced in 1969.
Extremely productive tree. Large, mostly 3 inch diameter fruit. Ripens late in season.
