Tomcot is a large fruited, orange colored apricot.  The fruit is firm and sweet.  Ripens very early ahead of most apricots.  Hardy but should only be planted in drier western conditions.  Requires approx. 600 chilling hours.  Very early blooming.  Somewhat self-fertile, but benefits by cross pollination.
