Harglow is a nice, cold hardy apricot that ripens about 10 days after Harcot, in a similar season to Hargrande. The frit is medium sized with a reddish blush on orange skin. It is attractive and firm, freestone, and resistant to cracking. The tree is hardy and it is late blooming with good resistance to bacterial spot, brown rot, and canker. An excellent eating or cooking apricot.
Harlow and other varieties whose name begins with "Har" were developed at the Harrow, Ontario Experiment Station in Canada and developed for the colder northern areas.
