Blondee® Apple is a very new "golden Gala" type apple that Grandpa saw a few years ago and was impressed with.  The fruit ripens a few days before regular Gala but has a greenish-yellow skin that changes to a rich yellow as it ripens.  The fruit is exceptional and has great eating qualities like Gala.  It appears to be denser than Gala and will keep for several months.  The tree is similar to Gala is other respects.

When Grandpa first saw test apples of Blondee® at a competiitors, he was impressed!  For an early season, golden-type fall apple it appears to have exceptional qualities.  It is a true sport of Gala, but without the normal reddish-orange skin color of Gala.

Treat Blondee® as if it were a Gala, and you can't go wrong.
