Pyrus communis 'Magness'

Magness is a medium size, short, oval, greenish-yellow pear with dark spots and light russeting. It has soft, juicy flest that is almost free of grit cells and it's tough skin red reduces insect damage and helps it store well. Trees are moderately vigorous, spreading, and very resistant to fireblight. It ripens about a week after Bartlett.
