Schmidt's Dark Sweet Cherry

Prunus avium 'Schmidt's'

Schmidt's Bigarreau Dark Sweet Cherry is one of the earliest of the large, hard fleshed sweet cherries. It is a deep mahogany fruit with a pleasingly sweet and rich flavor. The trees are vigorous and hardy. Ripens in early July.

Grandpa used to grow a lot of Schmidt sweet cherries too and was very successful with them.
