Sugar Pearls(TM) Apricot

Prunus armeniaca 'Sugar Pearls(TM)'

Sugar Pearls(TM) is also known as NJA 150 cultivar and comes from the Rutgers breeding program.  It is an almost white-fleshed apricot that has light yellow skin blushed with some red.  The tree is vigorous and productive and it blooms somewhat later than most apricots.  It is reported to be self-fertile, but some say not.  We would recommend another late blooming variety such as Harlayne.
