Prunus armeniaca 'Robada'

Robada is a new apricot introduced in the late 90s from the USDA Research station in Fresno, CA.  It is noted for its very large sized fruit, being one of the largest available.  The tree is vigorous but has some mildew susceptibility.  The fruit is very large, freestone, and finishes off nicely.  The flavor is outstanding.

Robada was bred at the USDA-ARS station in Fresno, California.
