Fortune is a late maturing Japanese plum variety with medium-large, reddish purple skin with firm yellow flesh.

Bred in the United States and released in New Zealand in the mid-1980's.

Fortune is a vigorous, upright tree that ripens in late August. Pollination from other Japanese varieties is recommended.
