Graniwinkle is a sweet flavored cider apple with green-yellow fruit flushed with red, that when mixed with Harrison, makes a superior quality cider. It is also a fine dessert apple.
An old New Jersey cider apple that originated in the early 1800's and is said to be named after the grower that first cultivated it.
Graniwinkle is a vigorous, upright tree that is an abundant producer and disease resistant. Ripens late in September.
