Malus domestica 'Harrison'

Harrison is a classic American cider variety with a yellow flesh and a yellow skin with black dots. It is a medium size fruit with round to oblong shape. Its flavor is described as being very rich, sprightly and slightly dry.

Harrison was first described in Coxe's "A View of the Cultivation of Fruit Trees in America" in 1817, it was thought lost until Tom Burford, a noted apple historian, discovered a 75 year old tree in New Jersey in 1989. 

Ripens in October.
