Pembina Hybrid Plum
Prunus hybrid 'Pembina'
Pembina is a very hardy, early blooming plum that is a good pollinator of other early bloomers like Pipestone and Alderman. The fruit is small, red, yellow fleshed and clingstone. Good fro fresh eating, but fair for other uses. A slower growing tree.
Pembina was introduced by N. E. Hansen in South Dakota in 1923.
