Ruby Queen has outstanding flavor. It has reddish-black skin and firm red flesh. It has shown good disease resistance and is well suited for humid conditions. Ripens in early September, about 3-4 weeks after Santa Rosa. Requires other Japanese plums for pollination.
Ruby Queen is a newer introduction from the USDA.
