Yakima is a very large, red skinned european plum with yellow, sweet, tender, firm flesh. It is freestone and good quality. It benefits from pollination by other european plums to set bigger crops.
Yakima was discovered in Toppenish, WA in 1902 and believed to be a seedling of "Peach" plum.
