BlackIce™ is a brand new variety that exhibits great cold hardiness and California-type plum qualities. It ripens early in the season, is medium size with dark red skin and red flesh. Flavor is excellent. Pollinates with other hybrid plums.
BlackIce™ was recently introduced from the breeding program of Dr. Brian Smith from the University of Wisconsin.
