Westcot is a very hardy apricot that does best in cooler climates. The fruit is medium sized, orangish with a blush, well flavo+R511red and attractive. The flesh is juicy, sweet and freestone. Ripens in mid-season. It is self-fertile.
Westcot originated in Morden, Manitoba and is an cross of Scout and McLure, two very hardy apricots.
