Norkent Apple
Malus domestica 'Norkent'
Norkent is one of the most hardy apples, and may be hardy to Zone 2. The medium sized fruit is orangish with red russeting over a greenish yellow skin. It is excellent for eating and cooking, and keeps well for several months.
Norkent originated in the cold area of Canada, and is a cross of Harelson and Rescue.
