Foxwhelp is an English bittersharp apple suitable for cidres. The fruit is small, red, round and russeted. The fruit is juicy and tart. Ripens in mid-late season, in mid-October and stores well. A late bloomer requiring other late blooming pollinators.
Foxwhelp was first reported about in 1854 and is name after the farm it ws discovered on in Healdsburg, Great Briton.
