Irish Peach is an ancient apple that came from Ireland.  It has smallish, greenish fruit with faint red stripes.  The flesh is crisp,juicy, aromatic, and has a pleasant rich flavor.  Ripens in mid-summer.

Alternate Name:  Early Crofton, Early Apple

Irish Peach may be a cross of an old Irish seedling apple and Yellow Transparent.  It became known around 1820.
