Wenatchee Moorpark Apricot
Prunus armeniaca 'Wenatchee Moorpark'
- » Wenatchee Moorpark is one of the hardiest self-fruitful apricots!
Wenatchee Moorpark is well known in Washington and Oregon for its ability to set crops in areas bothered by spring rain and frost. It is self-fruitful and a good pollinator for Perfection, Tilton and others. The fruit is large with yellow skin and flesh. Good flavor. Excellent for home use, fresh eating, drying and canning. The tree is more compact than other apricots.
Wenatchee Moorpark was introduced in 1908 by the C & O Nursery, a nursery that Grandpa still works with!
