Thunderchild Flowering Crabapple

Malus z 'Thunderchild Crab'

Thunderchild Crab is a beautiful deep pink-rose-red spring flowering crab that makes a nice addition to the landscape. It has a rounded, dense, spreading habit. Its fruits are about 1/2" in diameter and turn dark purplish-red and hang on the tree well after fall. The foliage is a deep purple color.

Thunderchild is one of Grandpa's favorite flowering crabs because of its spectacularly brilliant blooms in the spring and its lasting purple foliage throughout the summer.
