Malus domestica William's Pride - William's Pride Apple

William's Pride Apple

Malus domestica 'William's Pride'

William's Pride is a very early summer season, disease resistant apple. It is one of the earliest dark red apples, ripening just after Lodi or Pristine®. It is yellow fleshed with a mild, sub-acid flavor. Best used for dessert.

Willima's Pride was introduced as Co-op 23 and came from the famous cooperative apple breeding program of Rutgers, Illinois, and Purdue.

Williams' Pride is resistant to apple scab, and cedar apple rust, with a little less resistance to fire blight and powdery mildew than other disease resistant apples. Thin early for annual cropping. The tree is vigorous and upright.
