Apple Cobbler

Where To Cook: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F
Ingredients:
- 5 cups peeled, cored, apples sliced very thin
- 1/2 cup sugar or 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- dash of nutmeg (optional)
- 1 TB lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 TB flour
- A large handful of raisins, dried cranberries or cherries
- TOPPING:
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter (1/2 a stick, room temp)
Directions:
FILLING:
Mix together the sliced apples and lemon juice. Blend in the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Toss the raisins with flour. Mix them all together and place into a 9-inch pie plate or baking dish. Blend and crumble the topping over the apple mixture & bake for 30 minutes.
Cover with foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the apples are cooked all the way through.
