Prunus avium 'Royal Anne'

Grandpa's Choice™ Royal Anne Blush Sweet Cherry is a very old French variety. It has large, firm, light yellow fruit with a beautiful rose blush. Is is considered one of the best for canning because of it's firm, juicy and sweet flesh. It does not tend to crack as much as other blush cherries and so is good for the eastern areas.

A Little History about Royal Anne Blush Sweet Cherry

Royal Anne is also known as Napoleon. Apparently when the settlers went West, they took Napoleon trees with them to plant on their homesteads, but during the trip someone forgot the name, but remembered it had something to do with "royalty".
