Apple--- Cider Varieties

Hard Cidre is becoming more popular and Grandpa has been adding suitable varieties.  We also list here some of the more popular and well-know sweet cider varieties, however almost all apple can be used in sweet cider with proper blending.  Apples can be one of the most satisfying fruits to grow.  If you wish to try organicically growing, then focus on scab-resistant varieties, however, expect to spray and protect from insect damage like all other non-scab resistant varieties, which should require spraying in the spring to help protect from apple scab.

All varieties of Apples should be able to be shipped to all states except HI.  We cannot ship any stock to CANADA or outside the USA.

Note:  Planting a variety outside of its normal Hardiness Zone will void our normal replacement policy.  Please be careful in your selections!
