Golden Russet® Bosc Pear is a sport of the Bosc Pear and is long and symmetrical with a uniform, golden russet. It's flesh is yellowish-white and ripens about the same time as Anjou. The trees are large and vigorous.

A Little History

Discovered on the Fuki Orchard near Parksdale, OR. Since ordinary Bosc is not totally russeted, this mutation with more complete russetting and a more golden-bronze color is highly attractive.
