CrimsonCrisp™ is highly resistant to apple scab which is the main fungal problem of apple production. It is moderately resistant to cedar apple rust, and somewhat resistant to powdery mildew and fire blight. It is a late bloomer, with a spreading, grower friendly habit. Easy to grow!

CrimsonCrisp™ was bred and introduced by Purdue University in Indiana, where many of our finest disease resistant apple varieties came from. Their Co-op™ series of disease resistant apple varieties are the most famous. CrimsonCrisp™ is also known as Co-op 39.
