Kogetsu Apple

Malus domestica 'Kogetsu'

Kogetsu is a Japanese selection that ripens with Gala.  The red medium-large fruit has a creamy white flesh with a nice sugar to acid balance.  It has excellent flavor.  It stores well, but shows some dropping tendencies as it ripens.
